Next, we had a critique for the icons that we illustrated over the weekend. Some of the suggestions I received included adjusting the stroke sizes to make them more even, try out a "Marauder bookworm" theme for our school's mascot, and changing up the focus on the worm to include close ups. A lot of people seemed pleased with the overall bookworm theme for my icon-set, but were either confused by their context or felt that they were too childish for a college setting. Below is what I have done so far in class in terms of adjustments, which includes adding a marauder hat to some and adjusting line sizes. I will further refine them based on further feedback.
